Architectural Review Process

The Architectural Supervisory Committee was established by the Villa Real Protective Property Restrictions (CC&Rs) for the benefit of all homeowners.  Its function is to review and approve plans for any exterior construction erected on neighborhood lots.  Per the CC&Rs, “No structures . . . or other improvements shall be constructed upon any of said lots without the written approval as to location, height, and design thereof first having been obtained by the Architectural Supervisory Committee.”

The Committee’s role in the community is to ensure consistent application of the Villa Real Property Owner’s Association CC&Rs as they apply to exterior structural property modifications. The CC&Rs were implemented to promote the character and aesthetics of the community and to protect each individual homeowner’s property values.

Please refer to the Review Process Acknowledgement form for details regarding the application and review process.
